  • Equipment Procurement   ( 0 Articles )
We can source used boats and barges in the United States and South America working within a network of established brokers as your agent or dealing directly with many owners of used equipment on your behalf.
  • Design and Construction   ( 0 Articles )
New construction is sometimes a preferred alternative to used equipment purchase and we can oversee the construction process as your representative in your shipyard of choice.  We can qualify specific shipyards as to their suitability for your needs.

Our engineers and naval architect can design in detail or as general specifications the floating equipment necessary to complete the transport project.
  • River Surveys   ( 0 Articles )
Our professionals survey potential rivers for their navigability and economic viability to support barging projects. This can be done as a simple tabletop exercise, a confirming in-river transit or as a full scale bathymetric study with hydrographs.
  • Modelling and Costing   ( 0 Articles )
Knowing the contours and flows of a river channel our professionals can configure optimum convoys and the necessary pushing power for the most effective river tows. With this information a detailed logistics model can be created as a baseline for costing studies.

For each logistics model we use local knowledge of costs and develop detailed models of expected costs and cash flows necessary to support the financial structure of the project.
  • Operations and Training   ( 1 Article )
Our professionals can provide the necessary wheelhouse training programs, support and access to training, or the hands-on direction of the wheelhouse crew and the navigational equipment as needed.
  • Project Development   ( 3 Articles )
We can help you identify the critical success features necessary for a viable barging solution in the basin of your project or help you identify competing river transport solutions in new river basins.
